It’s a serious question to ask ourselves if we are getting enough water. Most of us would say we could drink more water, but how much do we really need? Rule of thumb is half of your body weight in ounces.
For example a 150lb person would look to consume 75oz of water each day. Keep in mind that this doesn’t need to all come from our water bottle. Our fruits and vegetables contain water so keep them on hand! Signs of dehydration include trouble sleeping, brain fog, fatigue, cravings, skin problems and gut issues.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, first ask yourself if you are drinking enough water and aim to reach half your body weight in ounces each day. If your symptoms continue, it’s probably time to call your doctor!
